Walks will range in time and grade, but a moderate level of fitness is required as Waiheke is very hilly. Most walks involve some bush or coastal tracks that have steeper sections and/or stairs. You will walk approximately 10km – 14km each day.
Holiday package 1 – Tuesday 11 November -Thursday 13 November

Shared twin room with shared bathroom is $450 per person.

Let us organise a wonderful 3 days of walking on Waiheke Island during the Waiheke Walking Festival.
Join a group of 12 fellow walkers, staying at the lovely, relaxed Kiwi House in Oneroa, and enjoy daily walks with your group, plus join festival walks specially selected for you each day, for three fun-filled, active days on the gorgeous Waiheke Island.
The package includes 2 nights accommodation with breakfast, picnic lunches for 3 days, all transport to and from walk finishes, ferry pick up and drop off, and a host each day to help get you sorted for the 3 days of walking adventure.
Does not include ferry tickets or dinners.

Day one – Catch the 9am ferry from downtown Auckland. Be met at 9.40am and begin your walk guided north around the coast to Oneroa via Owhanake Bay. You will walk to Kiwi House for lunch. (Luggage will be transferred). After lunch join a superb Festival walk, and choose to join fellow walkers at Fenice for dinner, or do your own thing. Approx 14km of walking.
Day two – Join in with a festival favourite at the far east end of the island, walking from Stony Batter down to Hooks Bay, with lunch at world-famous Man O’War Winery. Transfers back to Oneroa. A day of spectacular views and private property access. Dinner of your own choice back in Oneroa village. Approx. 10km walking.
Day three – Leave from Kiwi House to explore the southern reserves and stunning coastal track around Te Roreomaiea (Park Point). This is a spectacular walk, both challenging and rewarding, and finishes at Mudbrick Winery, toasting a wonderful three days of walking before being returned to the ferry for departure at 4pm. Approx 11km walking.
